My daughter has come home from school with a sore throat. We did a lateral flow test which was negative.
I think we should try to book a pcr test but it's still not an official symptom, she has no cough or fever etc. Pcr would take a few days to arrive and be posted back, she gets so upset doing the tests I'd rather avoid taking her to a centre.
Perhaps just easier to self isolate just in case but would rather she was tested.
Has anyone asked for pcr test appointment just with sore throat?
