Anyone else feel ill before, during and after ovulation....and before, during and after period? 😩

So basically I have a 2 or 3 day window where I don't feel ill 🥳🙄

I had blood tests done a couple of months ago, the full works and that all came back clear, so I'm assuming it's hormonal and related to my cycle.

Before I ovulate I feel sick and headachy with a bit brain fog, then during usually quite a bit of pain and bloating and then after, back to the headache and brain fog and general grogginess. I then have a few days of feeling ok, before building up to my period, which is insanely heavy! Only I also get a low/irritable mood thrown in too.

I do still worry it's something else, but I have been monitoring when I feel ill for the past few months and that seems to be the pattern. This month is particularly bad. Just about to start my period and I'm crampy, low level, but irritating heavy headache and very emotional. On the edge of tears all the time.

Does anyone else have this? Is there anything I can do to help?

Thanks

Having spoken about this very issue with family/friends it’s seems quite common. I get bloating and stabbing pains around ovulation time and then a week leading up to my period I get lightheaded, some strong cramping and tiredness.

Have had some respite this month as not ovulated after having second dose of AZ.

I had/have endo so that’s obviously a factor for me but thankfully my periods are no longer heavy.

Sorry, I’m not sure what would help. I tried acupuncture for a while and although I felt it helped somewhat it didn’t make much of a difference so I stopped. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with some helpful advice.

Thanks @Dizzyheights1

I have often wondered if I have endometriosis, but GPs I've seen haven't been very helpful, to say the least.
