Please help. My baby is 10 months old and still has trapped wind.
She had a posterior tongue tie which was 75% restricted but was cut and still no difference.
Her symptoms are

  • refusal of milk and solids
  • wrigglingand putting knees up to chest when sleeping
  • wakes up every 5 minutes
  • when shewakes up cries when I put her on her back
  • excessive gas

At first I thought t was reflux as she had it when she was young but I literally tried everything for it

I tried gaviscon, lansoprazole, omeprazole, fennel tea, cot wedge, sling, burping her a lot, smaller feeds more often, eliminating any reflux flaring feeds, loose clothing and more

I have tried gripe water, cool boiled water, dentinox colic drops, comfort milk, tummy time, organic milk, infacol, probiotics, babocush, fennel tea, massages, bicycle kicks, burping every 2 ounces and after feeds, put her on neocate, pacefeeding, keep her upright after meals, putting her on her tummy to sleep and so much more

I dont know what else I can do? I asked a paediatrician and they said sometimes its normal. I dont think it is.

She had constipation and diarrhoea when on normal milk but since neocate has not had it but she gets worse as she gets older and I cant do anything more for her. I've had enough!!

Could it be a milk intolerance?
