As says in the title 😫
At work yesterday, I have top denture due to breaking own of my front teeth years ago. The tooth next to it over the years then began to come wobbly. Covid hit so no dentist near me open. The tooth became worse, phoned my dentist , next available appointment was august. I called again yesterday and explained the situation was getting worse. Got put on the cancellation list.
About 10 mins later my tooth fell into my face mask. I could of cried. Luckily doesn't effect my speech.
So called round dentists again. And a lovely lady directed me to a denture repair place. Gave them a call, yes they can add the new tooth to my existing denture .
Appointment at 11:30 by 12:30 I will have my smile back.
My partner put tooth fairy money under my pillow to pay towards it god bless him.
I'm a nurse and due to a life time of medications my bones are knackered and my jaw is eroding so each year it's getting worse and I can't change meds . I don't even have enough jaw left for implants.
It's crap but at least I'm not waiting 6 weeks with a gap.
