Has anyone here retrained as a doctor as a 'mature' student after doing a non related first degree?
How was it and also how did you cope financially? Did you manage to get any funding/bursaries? I'm mid 30s, and it's what I've always what I wanted to do, and thinking about whether it's worth it. Doesn't seem like I'll qualify for loans because it's not my first degree, and/or would be paying two back at once when I qualify as I haven't paid off my first degree loan yet.
