Toddler with stubborn pimple

Has anyone else’s toddler had a red pimple for a long period of time? I mean it’s been there for a year or so now! I’ve asked her GP before and they didn’t seem worried, just said it’s heal when ready. It’s between her top lip and her nose and it just looks like a red spot (no obvious white head or anything). Any ideas? I’m going to have a phone consultation with her GP tomorrow again anyway but I’ve been Googling tonight and no ideas what it could be. Thanks!

They will just tell you the same thing I think. Leave it be.

Have you Googled for an image of Molloscum Contagiosum. It persists as you describe and likes warm creases and areas that suffer abrasion, such as the nose wiping zone

Hmm the thing is, it’s just one single spot! Lots of these things seem to cause a rash/ lots of spots. I don’t know! I’ll mention that to the GP though, thank you
