What sauce would you serve with prawns and pasta?

Apologies for the very boring question but I can't decide what sauce to make with prawns and spaghetti/linguine.

What would you serve with it?

Oooh a lovely Arrabiata. Had this this week with an Arrabiata from All Recipes website.

Cherry tomatoes, garlic, chilli and lemon. Just fry the tomatoes until they’re soft, then add the other stuff. Thin out with a bit of pasta water if needed. It’s my favourite quick dinner.

Or you could do creme fraiche, grated lemon zest, a bit of garlic, chives, some peas and rocketif you aren't a tomato and chilli fan.

Fresh red chillis sliced and garlic same, olive oil black pepper and salt and cherry tomatoes added to the pan once the chilli and garlic and prawns are starting to colour.

If you can be arsed, pistachio pesto with prawns is absolutely delicious. Like making a normal pesto but with pistachios instead of pine nuts. Had this in Sicily once and have been trying to recreate it ever since!

Thank you all. They all sound great. I have 4 bags of prawns in the freezer so as I'm really craving prawns and pasta. I think I'll be trying every one.

Olive oil, garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano onions, peppers and courgette

I second garlic and chilli oil but also squeeze some lemon on top!! Yum! Enjoy 😊

Cream, lemon, lots of garlic!

A white sauce with some cheese (not as much as for a cheese sauce) and a good splash of white wine added.
That’s what I do for a salmon and broccoli pasta thing, delish, I’m sure it’d be good with prawns, too.

My mum does prawn tagliatelle with a sauce made from equal parts taramasalata and soured cream. God its gorgeous.

We had this tonight with wild garlic pesto

Olive oil, lemon, black pepper. Won't drown the delicate flavour of prawns and will coat the pasta nicely.

Please don't ruin your dinner by using sweet chilli sauce

Basil, garlic, olive oil and chilli.

Cream cheese and cream, black pepper, smoked salmon trimmings!

Double cream, lemon zest peas and fresh parsley. Is amazing, albeit not a healthy option!
