Brazilian wax prep

I’ve got my first Brazilian wax tomorrow and I’m wondering whether I should have a trim first (and if so, to how long?!?)

Or should I just show up?

Deliberately not putting too much info here and please don’t do so in your response, either. I’m just unsure about the basics.

I’d just show up.
If you trim it too short the wax might not be able to grip the hairs properly.

Take some paracetamol!
The therapist can always trim if it's too long.

It needs to be about an inch long for the wax to properly grip.
If this is your first one and your hair is quite thick I would trim the part near the clitoral hood, as that can be quite painful.
