Who's up fuming about something?

I'll go first. We are self-isolating for the millionth time on the basis of my DC having had a fever briefly the other day. Test has just come back unreadable, which means we are going to miss three small but important-to-us milestone life events in the next two days.

It's just more of the same old pandemic shit, nothing special, just right now, more than ever, I am fucked right off.

What's bothering you?

The very lovely Hermes lady. Next door lives a disabled guy (in a wheelchair) so it takes him
Maybe 30 seconds longer to answer the door. 3 times now she has knocked on my door and woken the baby when he’s just a bit slow Sad

But as I say she’s normally very lovely so what can you do!?

Is it ok to be slightly quietly fuming at your own children?

DD1 comes in our room in the night when she wakes up because if we don’t let her she screams bloody murder and I don’t have the energy to deal with that shit. Tonight though for some unknown reason she has been thrashing about and kicking in her sleep which has been so much fun, she has now managed to kick me in the head at least three times. I wish I could get her to sleep through in her own bed!

Also the baby has been noisily farting since about 2am so although she’s technically asleep she may as well not be because she’s so loud.

Kids eh?!

I'm on hold to customer services. After 15 mins on hold (not too bad!) the agent came on, asked for my order number, line went silent - I thought I might be on hold but after another 5 mins of silence I realised I had been cut off. Had to ring back and join the back of the queue, have now been on hold another 25 mins Angry

Also DS2 managed to find the iPad we had hidden, and was on it at 4am. He had had screen time taken away the day before, we're going to have to put them in the car overnight now. Bloody kids.
