Looking for some inspiration for some UK Honeymoon destinations! Anyone been anywhere that's just somewhere just a bit extra special? Ideally within a two hour drive of the Scottish Borders!

The Lake District?

What do you like to do? Beach, mountains, culture, city, sport...?

The gilpin in the Lake District. Ridiculously expensive though

Ideally somewhere that we can do a bit of walking with some nice scenery and a good few places to go for meals and drinks! Love the Lake District.

Should have been more specific in my post, looking for specific accommodation recommendations also - really struggling to decide so looking for inspo 😃
