Did the nail grow back? I’ve had this on my big toe for years and it’s like the nail is very gradually dying - not lifting off in one go but gradually shrinking back down the nail bed. I’m expecting to eventually lose the nail but it’s taken years, and the bit that’s exposed seems numb 
It looks pretty hideous. I’ve got liver issues so can’t take the usual meds, as these apparently put your liver through the ringer.
I think one of my fingernails also has the infection
