So my gf and I (both f) are getting engaged in a couple of weeks...we've been boring and practical; discussed it, picked rings etc! However we still want to actually ask each other, not just swap rings. We're going away in a couple of weeks and plan to do it then. But I have no idea how to actually do the proposal?? Everything I've thought of feels really staged and cheesy, i want it to be simple and meaningful but more than just handing her the ring and asking her to marry me. Anyone have any nice experiences they'd like to share that I could borrow??
