Any cabin crew / pilots around?

Solve a quandary for us? Have cabin crew & pilots been subject to the same test & isolation rules when going in and out of green / amber / red countries as the general travelling public?

I don't think (based on gov.uk travel exemption information) that they are, but an acquaintance swears the opposite.

The argument is based on a flight being cancelled with the reasoning that the French crew would have to isolate on returning from an overnight layover in a UK airport (France class us as amber with 7 days isolation for anyone without double vaccination).

Thanks in advance!

Every country has its own rules. Some have an exemption for crew, such as the UK and some the crew have to follow the same quarantine rules as the general public, such as Australia and Singapore.
