How do I know if its an evap line?

It's a very clear line

Evap lines are just that; you've left the test so long that the liquid has evaporated and left a watermark. They are usually colourless.

If you've read the test in the correct timeframe then it will be a positive that you can see. Hope it's the result you're looking for.
