Anyone else recently feeling on the edge of losing it?

Been struggling with tinnitus for the last 9 months, coping better but still crappy. Found a breast lump last week, going to the hospital tomorrow to have it checked out. Got a message last night saying DS had been in close contact with a positive covid case at school so now needs to isolate. I constantly feel on the edge of screaming/crying but ways seem to carry on anyway without doing either of those. Sorry, just a moan really!

Hope you are OK, @Pinkpowderpuff.

I feel like that a lot of the time.

The lump is not necessarily malignant. It might be a cyst. You are being seen very quickly so even if it is not benign, you are doing somehing about it.

Your DS needs to isolate but he is alive and well.

It's tough and you are under a lot of pressure and you are doing your best.

Best wishes for the hospital appointment. Hope it is goodf news.

@FayCarew Thanks for your reply. Just needed to vent! Still feeling very anxious/unsettled. Will feel better once I've had the appointment as either way I'll know what I'm dealing with then.

Very sorry to hear this. You're not alone. I have been experiencing anxiety symptoms I never have before. I feel exhausted. I think it's the year catching up with me.

Given the all clear at the breast clinic so one less thing to stress about!

Glad the lump was nothing to worry about x

I think the reality of living in a pandemic for the past 18 months is starting to grind some of us down now as I am totally the sAmerican. Everything feels like it's grinding me down and I never ever used to be like that before.

Kirstos1 · 13/07/2021 16:52

Same not s american. WTF?

FayCarew · 13/07/2021 17:34

That is very good news @Pinkpowderpuff.

Tomorrow is going to be sunny.
