Last night, very soon after the penalties, I checked FB to see the reaction and saw a post from an old acquaintance, basically pretending he didn't know the difference between different ball sports.
It irrationally irritated me as at least half the country would have been gutted to varying degrees in that moment, and he used to get a few cheap likes - literally a few - and perhaps to look a bit above it all.
Of course, far worse stuff was posted online last night, but I feel better getting this off my chest.
