Do you think acrylic paint will cover the white bits of this toy car?

Ideally, I'd like it to be black but there was not a single black car that resembled a racing car in Poundland on Saturday (I spent a lot of time looking at every single car 🙈).

Do you think acrylic would cover it? Or do you reckon it might end up looking like a small child's been at the paints? Grin

Possibly spray paint designed for all surfaces might work better?

Enamel modelling paints (Hobbycraft) will look better although they will chip if played with by crashing.

I had to turn a hotwheels car pink for my DD 2 years ago, it was ok until a few crashes!

Hmmm, I may have some spray paint. I don't think I could mask the red accurately though so that stays red.

I'll have a look at enamel paints - it's only to sit on a cake, then will probably go in with the other cars at work, so doesn't really matter if the black doesn't last.
