Xbox account help please!

My son bought himself a pc. He’s 11 so I set up a childs account through my microsoft account... sonI can keep tabs of online content and he has to ask for purchases.

He uses xbox account to play games on the PC... he doesn’t own an xbox.

So I have done similar with his xbox account, I have created one and have linked a child account to this.

I have bought a couple of games through my xbox account for him, thinking they’d just play on his child account too but they won’t.

Is there any way of linking the games up to his account too? Or transferring them all together?

Are they games rated above his age?

I couldn’t get my DS’s child account to let him play online on certain games without removing the child age on his account.

If his child account is linked to yours they should be available to him. Contact the Xbox support live chat and ask them, there might be a setting you need to change. I've contacted them a few times with similar queries about my parent/child Xbox accounts and they are extremely helpful.

Fab thanks. They’re just kids games but bought through my account. It’s the same on microsoft.... can’t seem to transfer them across
