I have used the drying lotion for years - it contains 2% sacilyic acid . I am pregnant and from research online saw it was safe on many sources.. have just read again and found sources that say it might not be! I use some on my spots every night . Very worried . 13 weeks pregnant

It will be fine but I would stop using it from now

I haven't used that particular cream but I have been using one with a higher percentage salicylic acid in.. I'm 28 weeks now and all ok...I didn't know you shouldn't either!

Have been told by 2 pharmacists it’s fine as it’s topical and is only on the skin and not taken orally . My GP was on holidays and was referred to someone else who couldn’t grasp what I was asking.. so will try him again on Monday. Very worried I have done damage 🥺

I was told I was fine to use it on my skin until 12 weeks but to stop around then, ready for later on in the pregnancy.

I wouldn’t stress, OP, I’d just stop using it now Flowers
