What do you buy a 2 year old girl as a gift?

Now I know girls and boys like some of the same stuff, especially when young, but my Niece has an older brother so already has a lot of neutral toys like sandpit, play kitchen or typically boyish toys like trucks, trains and plane sets. What can I buy that they won't already have? So o I imagine something more classically thought of as a girls toy. Ideas please ? Is 2 too young to understand about vets as in vets set?

Vet's set would be lovely, I'd think. Maybe with a cuddly toy dog/cat/elephant, whatever. Stethoscope for listening, little bandages, carry case for taking to hospital etc. Mine had similar at 2yo and it was a huge hit.

playdoh, or Plasticine.

Budget?

Melissa and Doug have a great ice cream set around the £30 mark which is really fun.

Plan toys Bees come in bold rainbow colours or pastel ones which are really cute. Help with colour matching and fine motor skills and are just the sweetest things ever. Around £20-23

A mini micro scooter if your budget is higher.

Play doh! Any budget.

My 2 year old likes Peppa Pig, doctors sets (I would get her a vets set but I couldn't do it to our poor dog!, jigsaws, play food, duplo and anything stacking/organising/rearranging.

Mine loved wooden chopping veg, her tea set and her baby doll, the doll also has a cot and blanket and she loves putting it to bed. Vet set is a big hit but maybe better for you to keep until Christmas as she got frustrated with bandages and the stethoscope until she was about 2.5 and could do use them on her own.

I got my DNiece this (and a book) for her 2nd birthday and she went mental for it: www.johnlewis.com/jellycat-jungly-tails-boing-ball-soft-toy/p5073292

Meant to add, I wanted to get her a vet set, but they all said age 3+ on them, as did the Melissa & Doug wooden food and dressing up outfits. So you might need to do some searching or get something where the smaller pieces need to be kept to one side.

Depends on how much you want to spend but my 2 year old loves dolls and the Leap Frog Scoop ana Learn ice cream cart.
