I had this happen with my last dot, got a new one, relegated old one to kitchen and therefore less use.
Now my new one the same thing is happening and it's really annoying.
It's when I have music being played through it which is louder than when I use it for streaming tv/film sound.
It's the kind of buzzing I'm used to hearing on crappy car speakers. Some part of the unit is damaged somehow I think.
What's particularly annoying is I've only had this item 2 months!
I suspect this is a quality of the item issue as in manufacture is poor rather than I've been unlucky to have 2 products have this occur.
I hope you understand what I am meaning is the issue. Perhaps more techy/knowledgeable about speakers people might be able to explain to me what the cause is and perhaps how to remedy/resolve other than buy a new speaker
BUT if it is a new speaker thing then are there other smart speakers that are better quality but not horrifically expensive or do they all have this issue?
And if I got a different speaker could I still operate it with voice control/via either iPhone or fire tablet?
So annoyed!
