Boys shoes for starting academy?

Where do people buy shoes? Academy he will go to I imagine the kids will be in to having the “right” trend. But we haven’t a clue. Not looking for super cool styles, but just something that will fit in. Can anyone advise me?

Fashions change so quick for teens it’s hard to keep up. Which was why I asked, but this thread just shows that I think you need to be “on the ground” in the local school to actually know!
