Would you spend a term in NZ right now?

Have woken up this morning pondering this. Have 2 dds, going into year 5 and year 8, both at private schools. I’m originally from NZ, have been here over 20 years always with thought of maybe retiring there. Or ultimately spending 6 months there, 6 months in UK (dream). My parents are 90 and we haven’t visited for 2 years due to Covid when we normally go annually. The likelihood of going next year looks slim too Confused. I could ask work if they would hold my job for the term (might be possible), but dd’s schooling is the biggest concern. For one, whether would hold their space at current schools (although have prepaid at one of them for the year so may lose that!!), and whether a school change in a different country a good idea at this stage. Can anyone help with thoughts? Oh, and don’t think dh would be too keen but he realises my parents may not be around much longer and everyone missing out on each other Sad.
