Thomas scooter.... Ds was gutted when it got too small!! Lasted about 3 years and still in the shed!!

What's your budget?

Physical toys are great - depends on how much space you have. Trampet/ mini slide/ swing set. A scooter or balance bike.
Or for inside we have a brilliant wooden rocker and slide which has been worth every penny.

Books are safe. At that age a pretend shop or kitchen starts to get a bit more attention. Dressing up clothes still get played with years on. A good quality bubble machine. Playdough. Mine loved their own little wheelbarrow, spade and watering can for ages.

The wooden Ikea easel with chalkboard on one side and white pen board on the other was a huge hit with my daughter when she was two.

Shopping trolley and play food were also big hits.

Balance bike/scooter.

Happyland zoo.

UnalliterativeGeorge · 09/07/2021 11:17

Happyland. Lasts a while too - mine are 4 and 6 now and still play with it every so often

Rainallnight · 09/07/2021 11:20

Scooter!

ArchbishopOfBanterbury · 09/07/2021 11:20

Scooter, trains, dollhouse, duplo.

Swingoutsistersledge2 · 09/07/2021 11:23

Mine all loved The Little Tikes classic cosy Coupe .

Stompythedinosaur · 09/07/2021 11:24

Happyland fairground - I know it is plastic but it had years and years of use, and then got passed on to another family.

Mini microscooter was another hit win at that age. It is definitely worth the expense, much more usable than a cheap scooter.

My children are least a decade older, so I'll base this on my work children (nursery nurse!)

Scuttle bug
Balance bike
Anything counting/sorting - you could make your own!
Role play - kitchen/ baby stuff
