Proud mum post - my daughter graduates today

Proudmumtoday · 09/07/2021 07:49

My daughter is graduating today 😁. She’s had significant health issues and missed almost 2 years of school in her GCSE and L6 year and had to take the long route to get to university, but today she’s graduating with a 2:1 and heading in September to do a PGCE.

No point to this, just I’m very proud 😁.

Any tips on how to handle my charming ex welcome 😂

Fantastic, I would be bursting with pride too!
Hope you all have a great day at her graduation

Congratulation to you and her!

Re ex - just practice “That’s nice”, “Okey-Dokey”, “Alright then”, and “Mmm-hmmm” on repeat and sprinkle them in any pause in conversation. Do not engage. It will keep your daughter’s day special for her and get right up his nose Grin

Congratulations!

My DS's graduation was cancelled last year 😢 am now hoping he gets to attend one for his Masters after he finishes it in August.

Kenneldogsrock · 09/07/2021 12:28

Congratulations! That is lovely news.

Thanks everyone had a lovely day 😁

Ex expelled himself by arguing about mask wearing (he didn’t want to) but other than that it was just lovely.
