Farnham Royal, Bucks

I'm new to Mumsnet and hope I'm posting this in the right place! Looking to move out a bit from Harrow, NW London, and partner has family history in this area. I don't know much about it. Seems to be a bit random - not much there! Before I get into a research deep dive is it a good place to live? Thanks! Tally

Oops. Forgot to say that it's just the two of us… but we wan't kids in a couple of years

I live about 5 miles north of there. There isn't much in Farnham Royal, it's kind of between Farnham Common & Slough. I suppose the top end of it is close to Farnham Common. Farnham Common is nice, Stoke Poges OK. Other places around there are Fulmer (small village), Gerrards Cross & Beaconsfield (expensive). There are other villagey type places. Amersham is nice but further north (closer to me).
