Platform / tower to allow children to see out of Velux?

We have bedrooms in a loft conversion with Velux windows and I hate the fact we can't see out. Has anyone done / seen a kind of tower/platform the children could climb up to sit and look out? I'm thinking of something a bit cosy with cushions at the top for reading% sitting nook. That window would be locked shut obviously!
I'm not sure of the name of what I'm looking for even but I have seen them before. Like a sort of fake staircase that just leads to a little platform. Any ideas or solutions that don't involve getting new windows would be fab!

Great idea but my stomach is churning at the thought they could open them and fall from the platform. Make sure whatever you choose has in built safety, as if they lean their weight on a velux bar it could swing open.
