The dreaded stomach bug

My son's coat was covered in sick Monday at the childminders house. By Tuesday night he was throwing up all night. His dad has began with it at lunch time. I'm starting to feel off.
Our daughter is at school and I've had to arrange for my dad to collect her.
I hate weeks like this. I was hoping these sorts of bugs would have died out a little due to all the extra hygiene. But no such luck. Can I just sleep the next three days away?

They're not going to die out, they are ready and waiting for a resurgence. A lot of kids haven't been exposed to 'germs' at all and have no immunity. It's going t be a long winter.

Hope you all recover soon.

Dd is off school today with horrible diarrhoea bless her. She's just 6 and she hasn't had a bug since she was about 2. Hoping I don't catch it. No sick yet. Fingers crossed there won't be any. Hope u all feel better soon

I'm dreading it. This is definitely the problem with kids not being exposed. He was on antibiotics a fortnight ago.

@TeamSpike
I hope your little girls ok. Mines also 6. My son's 3.5. really hope you dodge it too. Feels like the next 24 hours will be miserable. We only have one toilet too. I get a horrible feeling my daughter will start with it tonight too. I just hope she doesn't start whilst she's in my dad's car. The whole situation is a pickle.

She's just been whimpering all day. Stomach pains and a very sore bum. Hoping it'll be done by tomorrow. Wishful thinking
