How to get rid of my 'chicken skin' ... see photos!

I have keratosis pelaritis on my arms and now it's spread to my back and i can't get rid of it !

I have tried exfoliating with a mit and sugar scrub for several weeks but if anything its gone worse arghhh.

Any tips or tricks to help get rid?

I’ve had it on my arms since I was a child and always hated it. The only thing I’ve found works is the Ameliorate cream - you can buy it from Boots or online. It’s still noticeable but far far better than it used to be. Agree it’s down to genetics …

I've always had this on my legs and thought it was just ingrown hairs. It was only when I noticed it coming up on my arm a couple of weeks ago that I did a google search and realised it was KP. An eye opener as I'm now 42.

I have this and have tried many things over the years.
I’m currently using the tropic cleansing bar I think it’s called (like the soap bar) it’s like washing yourself with moisturiser (also I know it’s an mlm and I don’t usually support them but I only buy this.
I then use the Nivea Q10 firming body lotion for dry skin (the blue one) and it seems to be keeping it under control at the moment.
I tried the cerave cream but it didn’t help me unfortunately, next on my list was the ameliorate cream and that is what I will try next if this stops working.

Use bar soap instead of shower gel.
Ameliorate cream.
Cerave SA cream.
Ren AHA body serum
Alpha H Liquid Gold wipes

Low carb and fasting have helped my skin too.
