Name for a new gin?

I know all you lot have great imaginations. I am producing my own gin, just on a very small scale to be sold at local shows, markets etc. The one thing I am stuck on is a unique name which will stand out but also means something.
My late mother was brought up in Singapore and loved an afternoon gin so thought I could have a name which could conjure up that memory. I can't actually use her name as it is boring and old fashioned, think Doris or similar. This wouldn't sound very sexy or enticing for a gin!
I would love some ideas please as I can't move on with anything else until I have a name.

@youvegottenminuteslynn .. yes it is an artisan gin and you are right in as much as I want to it to be taken seriously.

@Blueroses99

If the name is too closely linked to Singapore, it might inadvertently put off those who like to buy local. What style/flavour is the gin?
^And this

@sadie9

I would go with a name related to your own local area. Then you have the local history which includes you and your mother.
^ And finally this

Gin Lembut

Gentle Gin in Malay

Singaling Gin (rhymes with Singapore Sling)

I keep thinking about peacful afternoons... if you want to exude a state of serene calmness you could call it Ataraxy.

or Gin of Tranquilty

What about "Singlish"? A nice amalgamation of two cultures?

I really like a previous suggestion of Ginevieve.

Simbacatisback · 07/07/2021 23:02

Are you buying a cheap gin and infusing/rebottling or distilling a gin (very expensive allowing for taxation)

Whats is it infused with?

Simbacatisback · 07/07/2021 23:05

After taxation hard to see how this would be viable.Taxation is the same for a 500 bottle producer and sipsmiths

lollipoprainbow · 07/07/2021 23:07

Singapore gin ?

SingingInTheShithouse · 07/07/2021 23:08

Gin Genie was the first thing that springs to mind.

But with your mum in mind maybe something like Lotus Distillery & give this particular gin her actual name

Pieceofpurplesky · 07/07/2021 23:08

Lion City Gin

soooooooG · 07/07/2021 23:08

Not another gin? Because it's quite a saturated market.

What makes it different?

Pieceofpurplesky · 07/07/2021 23:09

Meant to add that's a nickname for Singapore

SingingInTheShithouse · 07/07/2021 23:11

I meant Orchid Distillery, but lotus does roll off the tongue better 🤔

Did the OP say she/her family was English? If so I missed that.

Its is almost impossible to sell a small batch gin at a profit after the various taxation.

Have you worked it all out OP?

'Genie in a Bottle'

( Ginius)

Bracketed word like a description afterwards.
