Taken double dose

Im not coping and for past few days have taken 200mg Sertraline instead of 100mg.its made me feel really fluffy in my head and settled my extreme stress and feelings of hopelessness, however my stomach has been sore.i dont want to speak to my Gp again,shes got the worst bedside manner and always seems in a hurry to finish and call or appointment.

Still less than the max dosage so you don't need to worry from a safety point of view.

You'll run out sooner than predicted though and will then have to explain to the GP why you need more so soon. They may be unwilling to prescribe early/at all if they think you're not taking it as prescribed.

I would phone the GP and ask for a dose increase.

150mg daily is the next step up

Thanks, just been trying to cope with the last few days which have been tough,will revert down again and speak to gp eventually

You could try a different GP if there's more than one in your practice? Some are definitely more understanding than others...
