I know I am clinging onto a past that has vanished but I do.
I miss Debenhams, it was the only big department store in the town near me. When I bought my first house in 2005 I bought kitchenware from there and when my friend was pregnant we spent ages looking at the sweet baby clothes.
I miss Mothercare. I had my baby a year after it closed.
I loved Cath Kidston. I know it is online but I loved wandering around. The staff were always lovely too.
Most of my clothes as a twenty something were topshop, oasis, warehouse. All gone. I liked Gap too.
I loved nice soaps from Crabtree and Evelyn. I used to love the one in Stratford, such a pretty shop.
