Totally depends on your trust tbh. Best ringing your ask

Most places are saying not allowed at the midwife appointments but can come to the 12 and 20 week scans

it will tell you. on the hospital website and in the appointment letter.

The first midwife appointment is for booking in usually not the scan appointment.

Whether your partner will be allowed to attend depends on local policy, but the midwife will probably wish to speak to you alone for at least part of the appointment to assess your safety.

My partner came to my booking appointment and all was fine :)

The initial midwife booking in appointment is quite a lot of boring admin. Unless your partner can easily get time off work/isn't working at that time, then I'd save it for hospital scans.

Midwife appointments are really dull, there's no real need for him to be there tbh, especially the first one!
