I'm off on holiday from work on my own. Feeling a bit iffy and the weather's rubbish. If I like The Fall and Mare of Easttown, what else would I like?

I always bang on about this, but Six Feet Under. Best thing show ever. And there are six whole seasons!

Kinsters · 05/07/2021 11:01

I loved the Fall and also loved Westworld and Line of Duty.

For something easy watching I've just started watching The 100. The plot and characters are occasionally a bit ropey but it's very enjoyable nonetheless.

I'm enjoying This is Us

Penners99 · 05/07/2021 11:30

Sons of Anarchy

Penners99 · 05/07/2021 11:31

@countrypunk, totally agree

countrypunk · 05/07/2021 11:35

@Penners99 At last! I'm always met with a wall of silence when I mention SFU. It's so unbelievably good. Far superior even to The Sopranos I reckon.

Lupin is light, enjoyable and entertaining

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 05/07/2021 11:37

I loved The Fall (haven't seen Mare of Easttown yet) and I also like:

Line of Duty (if you haven't already seen it)
No Offence
Killing Eve
How to Get Away With Murder
Wire in the Blood (very old now and some of the tech, haircuts etc are dated but the stories still hold up, by and large)

BunnyRuddington · 05/07/2021 11:37

Sex Education on Netflix

1940s · 05/07/2021 11:40

Where can I watch six feet under?

skippy67 · 05/07/2021 11:44

Happy Valley.
The Missing.
The Sinner, but only the first series.

countrypunk · 05/07/2021 11:47

@1940s it's on Amazon but you have to pay for it Sad

countrypunk · 05/07/2021 11:47

Second Happy Valley! Bleak but brilliant.

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 05/07/2021 15:13

Oh -- another thought

Damages (the Glenn Close thing)

skippy67 · 05/07/2021 20:06

Yes to Damages! So good.
