Do school need proof of isolation

My child has been In contact with another child that’s had a positive lft but their mum
Doesn’t want to take them for pcr test (too invasive as child won’t let her test him ) do I isolate my child as wouldn’t school
Want proof of pcr ?

Phone the school office and ask. My strong hunch is they’ll ask you to keep your child off - round here they’re being ultra cautious about symptoms etc and I’d fully expect in those circumstances to be asked to keep them home.

The tests are the same. The mum is in the wrong for not getting a PCR done.
