hey there mum of soon to be 3 little ones and pregnant. suffering from tinnitis after head injury. i had a head injury in 2015 that resulted in a loud ringing noise in my ears that lasts a few second. now I've had a recent head injury and followed by tinnitus 5 hours after my injury. its so loud and shrill and high pitch. I'm scared its forever. doctor wasn't much help and didn't even send me for a scan to check my brain. could this be temporary? could it heal? could it be temporary and caused by brain inflammation or bleeding from the injury. has anyone had it go away or after a head injury. I'm so worried but trying to be calm but its so hard. I feel like my life's over. its so debilitating and I'm worried how ill care for my kids when I can't even sleep. hate being at home and bedtime as this depresses me. please please tell me it can go away in a few weeks days months. is there treatment to help it?... what treatments would help head injury induced tinnitus. fck this illness i swear this is worst than any of my other physical illness that I have. I live for silence and quiet. I'm an introvert and scared ill never get this. I hate myself for being stupid enough to bump my head. please help

I have tinnitus for years, its there if I choose to listen to it. Mostly i choose not to. If its loud i tune it out on calm app or relaxation music and fall asleep to that...the more attention I pay it, the louder it gets.. i assume after you banged your head, if you got knocked out or have a bump or especially if you were nauseous or vomiting, o( a sign of brain swelling) or headache you got checked out by a doctor? Please do so if that happens. If you're worried tinnitus is related to bang on head phone 111?
