We can't think of a good gift for MIL this year. Usually one of us picks up on something she needs but this year we both have nothing.

Any have good suggestion for a gift around £100 (can be a bit more)?

She is mid 50, not a reader, not mutch into bath/body products, not a cook and has no garden and is not going places yet because of covid.

We usually get her items she needs updating, new coffee machine, new microwave, new laptop, or days out.

How about a monthly flower subscription? A bit boring maybe but if she's not going out it my cheer her place up a little?

Voucher for a day out she can look forward to? Audible subscription?

I'd imagine £100 could buy some decent Zoom lighting, if she's going to be communicating mostly online in the near future?

Has she been able to see a hairdresser recently? Possibly not. So perhaps a mobile hairdresser (fully vaccinated, tested and PPE'd.) Or a trip to a hairdresser if she's open to that.

Otherwise, a couple of large and splendid houseplants. It's tough being without a garden right now.
