Deodorant

Which deodorant shall I try next ?
I uploaded a thread a while ago expressing my worries about sweating Blush
Right now I’m using mitchum stick after evening shower and then the unscented roll on in the morning. However the only issue I’m having is that it kind of builds up throughout the day in one specific armpit crease and forms a thick white line which I have to go into the bathroom and wipe off . Anyone else ?
I might try Sanex if it dries invisible - any recs?
Thank you !!! Roll on is definitely better than spray deodorant!!Blush

Btw - need something to last all day, keep me dry and stop odor, and be invisible all day! Is it too much to ask, deodorant companies?Grin

I have found driclor to be much more efficient than the ones you are using

Shuttheblinds · 04/07/2021 19:54

I used to use the same and had the same problem. I swear by Vichy 48 hour roll on. Its tricky to get hold off so I order online,

I use the zero perfume one.
takes a bit to dry completely but once it has it's invisible. and works.

I use the Mitchum roll on in the evening, the stick and gel never seemed to dry on me.
Then in the morning I use a spray antiperspirant/deodorant, whichever I like the smell of. But for some reason the Mitchum sprays are impossible for me to push down, does anyone else have that trouble?

captainprincess · 05/07/2021 10:44

I have a few weeks ago switched to Wild, it's a natural plant based deodorant, zero plastic and obviously great for the environment.
I am getting on great with it. You need to have a break for 24 hours before using it, then you apply once a day.
I do a lot of exercise and it hasn't let me down. Def recommend

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 05/07/2021 11:17

Don't rate Mitchum at all after their formula change. I've just discovered Sure extra something or another,it's really good.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 05/07/2021 11:18

Sure maximum protection- just looked it up!

mynameisigglepiggle · 05/07/2021 11:25

I use the side maximum protection one too. Can definitely recommend

mynameisigglepiggle · 05/07/2021 11:25

Side?!?! Sure

QuestionableMouse · 05/07/2021 11:32

I know you said roll on, but bear with me🤣

I use www.superdrug.com/Toiletries/Deodorants/Women%27s-Deodorant/Womens-Aerosol-Deodorants/Sure-Compressed-Deodorant-Bright-Bouquet-75ml/p/607951 and it keeps me dry and fresh, even running around a very hot restaurant for ten hours a day.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 05/07/2021 11:34

@mynameisigglepiggleisnt isn't it brilliant?

fluffysocks345 · 05/07/2021 15:50

I don’t know why I am wary of sure maybe it’s becaus their sprays are so useless!! But might try

It was 35° at work on Sunday and I was soaked all over, apart from my armpits where I'd sprayed 🤣 Works really well for me. 😊

Have you turned the top? It comes locked, you have to turn it to unlock.
GallopingGreen · 06/07/2021 01:03

Perspirex has been a life saver for me. Stings like hell first few times ... but so so so worth it. No white build up either.
I haven't had any sweat or odours in the 2 years I have been using it.

fatedtopretend · 06/07/2021 01:15

Dove cream straight after a shower and then mitchum roll on half an hour later, it keeps me fresh and mostly dry without ruining my skin

Midnightballerina · 06/07/2021 01:35

Drysol is good, a little pricey. You have to wait at least 2 hrs after showering so apply at night is the best. My Son suffered with terrible excessive sweating. He started using it everyday day & now uses it about 3x week.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/07/2021 07:14

Triple dry here, peri menopause has me sweating a lot so I use this every day am and pm & I go over the outside of the armpit where you wouldn’t think sweat came from.

Driclor makes me itch and never really kept me totally dry.

cherrytree63 · 25/07/2021 08:51

@VanGoghsDog yes I've done that, my OH can push it down, I must have weak fingers Grin but don't have the same problem with other brands.

DoucheCanoe · 25/07/2021 09:12

I switched to Wild deodorant sticks about a year ago and really like it. I'm a sweaty B.O person with ridiculously sensitive skin Blush but this keeps me fresh for the day!

You do need to apply and dry before putting clothes on though as it's plant based so goes white/powdery on application but soon dries.

Wintercoffee · 25/07/2021 09:28

Soft and Gentle Verbena and Waterlily
It’s 48 hour and it works for me with a very active job! Shower and apply daily

Usual2usual · 25/07/2021 09:32

Salt of the Earth - it's been a game changer for me.

userchange902 · 25/07/2021 09:49

I've used Dove spray since I was about 11 or 12, whenever I've tried anything else because it's on offer a notice a wetness, so I just stick with Dove now.
