DUMFRIES ICE RINK - Where to eat nearby?

Staying near the ice rink - need somewhere in day to grab a sandwich and at night is it far to the town for restaurants?

What evening restaurants would you recommend? We eat anything but DS likes Nandos, Mexican etc.

Does the rink have a cafe?

There’s no Nando’s in Dumfries.
There’s a McDonald’s….
Truffles is a lovely place. CasaMia is decent too both for the evening.
There’s not much in Dumfries to be honest. Do you have a car?
If you’re going into the ice bowl, be warned, it’s bloody freezing! (Although a shade warmer than Murrayfield….if you know, you know).

I think the cafe is still closed, although I might be wrong.

yes got a car -MD would be goog for breakfast so that's sorted

I need to get some kind of packed lunch/sandwich in the daytime for DS
Evening we will drive to check out a couple of places then just lunch sandwich need to sort

Ooooo think there is a Morrisons near the Prem Inn - can grab a sandwich there on way for him

There’s a great big Tesco too. £3 meal deal for the win!
