Has anyone been to bluestone? Any tips or advice? We've been to Center parcs a lot - is it similar? Anything we desperately need to take? Or do there?! Children are 4 and 1. We've hired a golf buggy already as someone mentioned that being a must! Thanks so much!

We loved it! The water park is great. Didn't hire a golf buggy but should have, it's a big site.
The food is pretty average.
Hope you enjoy your visit Smile

Book everything weeks before you go.
Take a clothes airer.

Is it too young for a 14 and 15 yr old?

Book a click and collect slot at Tesco Haverfordwest as the shop onsite is small and expensive. The restaurants are ok but I wouldn’t want to eat there every day.

Always pre book any child's activity, the pool is great and there is lots of walks to take around the park etc.
The little shop is expensive so yes, taking as much as you can dry food wise is a good idea and use the shop for fresh milk and bread.
The golf buggy hire is useful as it can be quite hilly on some parts and getting
up to the pool is up hill. You can also pay for the WiFi if wanted for inside the lodge.
You can leave Bluestone, Folly Farm is nearby as well as Oakwood theme park and other places.
There is a pub, a cafe and other eating places that are expensive but it's OK just for a treat if you are cost conscious.
We have been several times and always have a lovely time.

Just been, it's great.
Book any restaurants or activities you want. I really liked camp smoky. I didn't rate the fish and chips from the chippy van though.
The pool is also great, they have free swim nappies so don't worry if you forget them.
The inside play area is great but bloody hot.
They only leave 1 loo roll in the lodge so take more.
Currently need to queue to get into the pool so take that into account and you can only stay in 90 mins at a time.
You'll love it.

Make sure you eat at Camp Smokey at least once, it's amazing.

Yes to Camp Smokey (prebook long before you go).

Stop for groceries (or click and collect) at Tesco Carmarthen (if coming from M4). The little shop on site has a limited range and is expensive.

If staying for longer than a weekend, do make sure you visit the nearby coast as its stunning.

Swim early in the day as it gets quite busy by late morning. We tend to get up and go first thing before heading back to our lodge for brunch.
