I love this programme, but I have to wonder about why the back stories of the patients/their loved ones are relevant.

My backstory is I lost my baby boy 16 years ago, I also had a miscarriage recently of twins. It was absolutely pants. This lady brought her young child because she had hurt her neck, however due to the nature of the programme, the mum disclosed that her daughter was a twin, and she had explained the loss of the twin to her young daughter. I've got a stepdaughter of 10, am I doing this wrong? Should I have told her? She's such a sensitive soul that I thought not telling her was a way of not burdening her. I'm just lost. I obviously miss my pregnancy every day, but I need to be strong for her

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to do this. Do what feels right for you.

I love to hear the backstories of people. I would tell her. If it comes out later she may be hurt you didn't tell her.
