Is there anywhere to avoid being admitted to a local mental health ward

Ds 25 personally find the local mental health ward awful. I know it’s probably lack of staffing that contributes to this but some of the comments made by staff are quite spiteful. He doesn’t want to be admitted there the crisis team have said people have to go to their local wards.

I work on an acute admissions ward, and it's a busy place but the staff are caring, compassionate and kind.

If the crisis team cannot provide the support he needs, perhaps admission is the best solution.

IME (20+ years), there is really very little between NHS Trusts.
