Any guesses where Hermes courier has left my parcel?

The online page says it’s on my porch, except I don’t have a porch. No card through the door. The “proof of delivery” is a GPS screenshot. I have checked the bins for all the flats in my building (it’s a converted house with four flats) behind my neighbours shed and on her terrace and under/behind all the bushes. No sign of it. Haven’t had any messages from neighbours to say they’ve got it. Personally I reckon the driver dumped it on the doorstep for all the world to see and some passer by has swiped it

Anyone want to offer an alternative guess?

Well last delivery was to the next street - as in 20 Acacia Gardens vs 20 Acacia Road. In her garage. Took a picture of the parcel with no surround so nothing to identify it. Card said in the garage. We don’t have one.
Luckily the nice woman figured it out and delivered it.
They are useless.

Hermes said mine was delivered with a photo of the side gate. Which was locked.

It then turned out they hadn’t delivered it and brought it the next day.

Nope, I’ve done a lap of the whole building (a few actually) and it’s not been left anywhere that’s visible to the naked eye. Both upstairs neighbours have said they don’t have it, downstairs neighbour isn’t home but I reckon she’d have just popped it by my back door anyway.

No similarly named roads round here to confuse it with plus the GPS location thing does show my address... no photos though.

This is the reason I got cctv. Lost so many parcels. Was fun sending in cctv footage of no fucker coming into the close at that time.
Weirdly, I get all my parcels now. They know I have a boot box and put parcels there if I’m not in.

Annoyingly the listing (it was an eBay package) said it was going to be sent by royal mail 2nd class. If I’d known it was Hermes I might not have bothered!

I hear so much bad thing about Hermes. My delivery guy is the best! He will deliver to the shed if no one is in. Or he will find an open window and pop it in. I often walk into the utility room to find a parcel on the shelf. He really is amazing and a star!

Our hermes is great too.
However once I had a photo sent it was on my doorstep. When I got back it wasn't.
Then the next day she arrived and apologise she said she knocked thought she heard us in, and took pic ready. However I wasn't in (car was on drive) and she thought she amended it but hadn't. So she brought it 1st thing the next day

Have to agree with you, MrsDThomas. I regularly have stuff delivered by Hermes,and I have to say they are great! Touch wood,so far I've never had any problems.

Hermes are so fucking useless. For the first 18 months we lived in this house they routinely delivered our parcels to a house down the road with a similarish name. When we called (i have no idea how DH actually found a number to call, as there isn't one easily found on their website), they completely denied and and said the drive said we must be wrong. We did eventually sort it out, but for 18 months we had to trot down the road to retrieve our parcels each time.
