Looking to go to London for my son's 18th, anyone have any good recommendations. He likes Indian, Italian, Mexican or American style food.

Dishoom if you fancy Indian or Duck and Waffle (24 hour restaurant with amazing views 40 floors up over the city of London).

In fact if you're staying over do Dishoom for dinner and then Duck and Waffle for breakfast!

Definitely Wahaca - it's amazing.

Tayyabs in Whitechapel is incredible food, very good value and BYO booze.

If i was coming for an 18th I would go for a place with a view. So i agree with the duck and waffle suggestion.

Dishoom for an 18 yo

Dishoom is really good. We used to live in Mumbai and it’s very authentic proper Indian food.

Which area will you be staying in? This will have a huge baring on recommendations- unless you are happy to travel all over!

Definitely Wahacas for Mexican.

If he likes chinese, Hutong has amazing views.

My teenage boys loved this place , it’s very central just off The Strand and near Trafalgar Square

The kitchen is open so you can see them making the Naans and raking stuff out of the tandoori oven .

It’s also pretty reasonable price wise for central London
