Praying for a vomit free night

I was off work Friday and Monday with a case of shingles (after lots of time off this year with self isolation, COVID and shielding), went back to work on Tuesday, only for my 5 year old to come down with a projectile vomiting bug during the night. Lay on his bedroom floor all night, neither of us getting any sleep in between the vomiting, had to call in sick on Weds, no school for him.

Managed to arrange childcare for Thursday so I could go into work, he appeared to be absolutely fine, running around, ate ok. Got all his stuff ready to return to school today. Last night, I heard a massive bang and we had another case of projectile vomiting, this time in my bedroom as he'd come to get me, resulting in another night on his floor for me and another day off sick for both of us.

Please sickness gods, bless me with a vomit free night tonight, I beg of you 🙏🏼

I’m just in the middle of a night of vomiting from my 3 year old, started at 6.30pm… praying doesn’t pass to his brother.. I feel your pain and hope you’re getting some rest tonight! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

My four year old had two weeks of nighttime vomiting last month. Projectile vomiting every other night for 15 nights!
I really hope yours doesn’t have it. I can’t tell you how much laundry we went through.

I will say 3 Hail Marys, an Our Father and a Glory Be To The Father for you. Even an angry God would surely give you a night off from the puking.

It’s everywhere at the minute that projectile vomiting bug. My 8yo had it Monday night. The lack of sleep was a killer!

So glad he wasn’t sick last night. Fingers crossed for you that’s the last of it.
