Borax! Just put a line along where they're coming in. Dangerous to children/pets though.

Ant stations!

I had a guy come round and charge £80 to spray their nests but they still came back after a while - then I bought £20 worth of those little ant boxes (this bought around 8 of them) and put them around the most affected areas and they’ve (touch wood) never been back. I don’t know whether it has something inside that deters them or whatever but they seemed to work for me (bought them from diy store).

I've suddenly developed loads of ant hills all over the lawn. Wondering how to get rid without damaging the surrounding grass?
