For any of you who have a Boots Advantage card, check your balances.
I went to pay for a load of skincare last week with my points and they'd disappeared. I emailed them with all of my information (I've had the account for about 15 years!) and they said they couldn't see any record of my Advantage Card and I had no points, it must be my error.
I knew that was wrong and asked to pass it along to their complaints department. Lo and behold, they've come back today saying a technical error has affected their systems and have restored my points (£100 worth!) and given me a new card number.
If I'd have left it when CS said I'd made an error I'd have been £100 worth of points down. So check your points and if it doesn't look right then ask to complain. I wonder how many people this has affected.
I'm going to spend them before they disappear again!
