I have natural dark brown hair.
I do however have a lot of grey, probably 40% at least through the top half.
I colour my hair myself using professional colour. I mix shades 3 & 4.
I only ever colour the roots.
Can I go a slightly lighter colour all over? Can it be lightened? Or will it not lighten as the ends are quite dark?
Hair is very healthy and thick.
I want to cut down on the stark contrast between such dark hair and a lot of white regrowth.
I don't want highlights as I can't afford both the time and money to get them done regularly.
