Sunday lunch Tower of London

In London this weekend, looking for recommendations for a decent Sunday lunch near Tower of London please.

Cross the bridge, walk to Borough Market, Roast or Hawksmoor are both very good for a roast.

Le pont de la tour would be an obvious place. Or Smiths of Wapping (known for fish). Not sure what their current sunday lunch situation is.

Thanks they look lovely. Was hoping for something a tad cheaper, its been a long time since I ate out in London.!

Oh, that's doable too. Are you looking for a pub roast or flexible? How far are you prepared to walk from ToL?

Have a look at St Katherine's Dock - plenty of eating places down there. Haven't been for a couple of years tho so no specific recommendations

@palavah We are doing tol then want to get lunch before getting train at 5. We need to go back to hotel to pick up bags ( Holborn) after finishing lunch so thought easiest to get food tol. Just fancy a roast out, somewhere they dont over cook the beef or have soggy roast potatoes .

@goawaybudget. I think 18-20 for a main tops.

I haven’t been specifically for Sunday but would also trust The Woolpack or Tanner & Co? They’re a bit cheaper and in fact closer!
