Opened on Sunday morning (long story), almost full... been in the fridge ever since, so cold. But with no top / cork just an uncovered bottle neck...

It will be flat… but not poisonous…. How desperate are you? 😁

AWiseWomanOnceSaidFuckThisShit · 01/07/2021 18:27

Well not desperate lol but the sun is out and I'm off tomorrow... :-)

It might be a bit flat but won’t do you any harm.

I'd taste it and if it was palatable I'd drink it. If it's turned to vinegar, no

Crunchymum · 01/07/2021 18:32

Is no-one going to ask why it was opened on Sunday morning?

And more importantly why it wasn't guzzled before now?

AWiseWomanOnceSaidFuckThisShit · 01/07/2021 18:34

It was opened on Sunday morning because I was still pissed from Saturday night and thought it would be absolutely hilarious to get straight back on it. I then realised I was being a total twat and put it away!

Yes. I’m very concerned about the OP, this isn’t normal behaviour. 😂

GreenTeaBlackCoffeeAndRedWine · 01/07/2021 18:38

Haha, so long as you don't mind slightly flat prosecco. To me, any prosecco is perfect

Chicchicchicchiclana · 01/07/2021 18:38

No. I would forget it.

whatthejiggeries · 01/07/2021 18:43

If it's full it may still have bubbles - the fuller a bottle is the more likely it is not to go flats next time put a spoon in it and it will be fine. Flat Prosecco is rank though

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 01/07/2021 18:44

I just had the flat remains of a bottle of Cremant that we opened for lunch with a guest 2 days ago. Flat, but quite nice with orange juice.
Waste not want not….

SuddenArborealStop · 01/07/2021 18:45

I'd give it a go

Urban myth re spoon.
AWiseWomanOnceSaidFuckThisShit · 01/07/2021 18:47

Wow! It's still really bubbly. Hic! :-)

Put a raisin in it, heard this on radio 2 but can’t remember how it’s meant to help.
